On September 22, 2020 Deputy Foreign Minister (CDTO) Dmytro Senik met with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway in Ukraine Erik Svedahl.

During the meeting, the parties praised the Ukrainian-Norwegian bilateral partnership and discussed a number of promising projects in the area of trade, investment and scientific cooperation.

The Deputy Foreign Minister described the process of introducing digital technologies and asked the Norwegian side to share its experience in the area of e-governance. As Dmytro Senik noted, “a major goal of digital transformations in the MFA is raising the effectiveness of the Ministry’s functioning and simplification of providing consular services for Ukrainian citizens”.

The parties  also discussed the preparation for the 3^rd meeting of the Ukrainian-Norwegian Commission on Trade, Business and Economic Cooperation in November this year.
